Mandated Reporter Training

Mandated Reporters are any person working in the following categories: School Personnel, Child Care Providers, Medical Professionals, Mental & Social Health, Law Enforcement, Clergy, and Volunteers who serve these organizations.
This free training is given to ensure participants are knowledgeable on how the law defines child abuse and neglect, the importance of recognizing both physical and behavioral indicators of abuse during physical distancing, requirements of a mandated reporter, protection the law provides for mandated reporters, how to talk to children about suspected abuse, how to report child abuse, and what to expect after a report is filed. This training meets mandated reporter requirements for the state of California.
